Who we are
Pet Price Checker is run by Andy Cummins, an individual based in Barbados. Contact: wheresjeffandy@gmail.com. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- If you ask for a reminder: your email address, the date your dog's next dose is due, the chew and weight band you picked, the area you chose for delivery prices, and whether you ticked "just send it every month". Nothing else. We don't ask for your name, address or your dog's details.
- When you use the site: basic, anonymous usage counts (pages viewed, which shop links are clicked). These are counted by our own website (hosted by Cloudflare) without cookies, and record only the event, the product and area picked, and your country. We don't use this to identify you.
Why we collect it
Only to email you before the next dose is due, with that day's cheapest price for your band, and, if you ticked the box, to tell you when we can send it to you each month. We won't use your email for anything else, and we won't sell or rent it to anyone.
Who else sees it
Your email and dose date are stored in a database run for us by Cloudflare, which also hosts this website, and reminder emails are sent through Cloudflare's email service, from reminders@petpricechecker.com. These servers may be outside Australia (for example in the United States). We only use providers that protect personal information to a standard similar to the Australian Privacy Principles. We don't pass your details to the shops we list.
Shop links
When you click "Go to" a shop, you leave this site. That shop's own privacy policy then applies. Some links may be affiliate links, which tell the shop the visit came from us. They don't give the shop your email.
Unsubscribe, see or correct your details
Every reminder email has an unsubscribe link that works straight away. You can also email us to see the details we hold about you, correct them, or have them deleted. We'll reply within 30 days.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe, or for 12 months after your last reminder, whichever comes first. Then we delete it.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, email us first and we'll try to put it right within 30 days. If you're still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner: oaic.gov.au, phone 1300 363 992.
